01. Why to attain this training programme?

When you practice grafting by yourself, many problems come one after the other. For this we also try to get information from many places, although it is always incomplete. Time is very important. Without proper knowledge, it will take you more than 1 year to master everything, whereas we will explain each and every thing in depth within 2 days in this training program. You will become pro-grafter in 2 days only.

Vegetable grafting

Vegetable grafting is a process in which we graft a good quality vegetable on top of a strong rootstock plant. We can do grafting very easily in Brinjal, Tomato, Chilli, Cabbage-class crops, Pumpkin-class crops and so on in other vegetables.

Vegetable grafting is completely different from grafting done in other crops. In fruit plants such as mango, jackfruit, cashew, and berries, this work is very easy, because in favorable weather, grafting is easily successful without any problem, whereas in vegetable crops, there is no such favorable weather.

02. Benefits of vegetable grafting

Strong Plants: Plants become very strong. Their root system becomes strong. The whole plant itself becomes very strong.

More production: Plants give more production. Plants like brinjal and tomato become bigger and stronger, more branches come out of them due to which more flowers and fruits come. In this way more production is obtained per plant.

Long production period: The production period of the plant is longer than that of normal plant. After grafting from a crop like brinjal, production can be taken continuously for 2 years. On the other hand, there is no problem in the tomato plant throughout the year.

Protection from Wilt: When brinjal and tomato plants are added to wild brinjal rootstock, such plants become almost completely safe from diseases like wilt. Wilt is a very fatal disease of the solanaceae family, which destroys the entire cultivation of brinjal and tomato.

Protection from Nematode: Plant pathogenic nematode is a very harmful pest of solanaceae family. It penetrates into the roots of tomato by making holes and by making knots there they create blockage. Due to this blockage, the flow of food materials in plants stops.
